We offer quality services for sustainable remodeling and new construction. These services include green building consulting, HERS Ratings, and customized design and building.

Finally, we strive to create an efficient, transparent and courteous construction process that delivers superb quality and value to you.  Overall, our goal is to make it as easy as possible for you to create the home you’ve always wanted.  See our “Step by Step” for a further description of the process.

Skycastle Homes, LLC, founded in 2001, is a small design-build firm dedicated to the idea that everyone should have access to green, affordable, functional and beautiful homes.  We are fully licensed, bonded and insured in the City of Boulder. Several of our staff are LEED accredited. Our award-winning team is composed of some of the most experienced leaders in the green building industry – we have over 15 years of experience creating some of the most environmentally sustainable homes in Colorado.  We will bring that level of quality and thoughtfulness to your project.

We work with you to create a custom package of design and system options that meets your needs, priorities and budget.  We give you a hard bid contract and have established a “preferred borrower” relationship for you with Wells Fargo or you are welcome to use the lender of your choice.  We provide “turn-key” services for the complex engineering, permit, rebate and bid processes.   Additionally, our pre-designed plan options not only take the guesswork out of the process of working with an architect, but they dramatically reduce the cost by defraying the expense of the design work over many similar projects.

We have extensively researched the products and systems we offer and feel they provide the best possible value.  We look for green performance and product and service quality.  We have obtained competitive bids for all products and subcontractors.
